As part of our sustainability efforts, we agreed to store and re-sell concrete railroad ties that were being discarded by a local rail road company. The ties are 7.5" x 7.5" x 8', and have rebar embedded. They are just $0.50 / each.

We are a circle saw mill specializing in rough cut lumber, timber and log products. In addition to rough cut lumber, we offer S3S, S4S and tongue and groove planing services. Our timber is locally sourced in the northern Colorado Rockies, and includes lodgepole (aka beetle kill / blue stain) pine, aspen, douglas fir and Engleman spruce.

We offer a variety of lumber and timber services, including hand peeling (we don't machine peel), hand hewning and planing. We also offer delivery within the state of Colorado for $4 / loaded mile. (LTL freight shipping can be arranged for other locations.)

Native Colorado Wood Types Available

Douglas Fir

Douglas Fir

Color is light brown with darker growth rings and contains hints of yellow and/or red.
Engelmann Spruce

Engelmann Spruce

Engelmann Spruce is a cream to white color (shown here stained) and is used for indoor general construction.
Lodgepole Pine

Lodgepole Pine

Heartwood is light reddish/yellowish brown, sapwood is yellowish white.

"Blue Stain" Pine

"Blue stain" or "beetle kill" pine is lodgepole pine that has been killed by the mountain pine beetle. The byproduct of this bark beetle is a beautiful blue coloring (stain) in much of the dead-standing pine we harvest.
