Our Story
The Mill was born from a commitment to sustainable forestry and local craftsmanship. Our timber comes from local forest health projects on public and private properties in Colorado. We primarily mill Lodgepole “Beetle Kill” Pine, Douglas Fir and Engelmann Spruce into unique, durable, and beautiful products that reflect the character of the region. As a woman-owned small business, The Mill proudly supports Colorado’s workforce, forest economy, and the broader building, design, and artisan communities. We support a wide range of residential, commercial, and landscape projects with rough-cut lumber, logs, beams, siding, live edge slabs, tongue & groove, and much more. All offered in nominal sizing and milled to spec to match custom designs or existing finishes. We currently serve builders, architects, interior designers, landscapers, and artisans throughout Routt, Grand, Summit, Eagle, Pitkin, Jackson counties—and beyond.
